Pre-Conference season is upon us! What is a Pre-Conference you ask and why should I go?
A Pre-Conference is a meeting of GSRs, all interested members of Area 72, the Area Delegate Crystal and the Area Alternate Delegate Courtney. The purpose is for the Delegate to communicate with the General Service Representatives (and through them the groups) about agenda items which will be addressed at the General Service Conference being held April 14-20, 2024 in Brooklyn, New York.
The final agenda items and background will be posted in this Pre-Conference Documents Google Drive Folder by February 20, 2023.
At the beginning of March, Crystal will send out an email to the Area committee and have posted in the Pre-Conference Documents Google Drive Folder a list of the specific agenda items with background that will be discussed at the Pre-Conferences.
After you attend a Pre-Conference, please have a discussion with your group about the topics covered or any other topic of interest in the agenda items, and then communicate that conscience to Crystal no later than April 7, 2024. You can do this either by email (delegate@area72aa.org) or by attending the sharing session Crystal will be hosting on Zoom (ID: 944 512 3341; PC: service) on April 7th at 6:30pm.
